Pledge Payments are gifts directed toward the fulfillment of a total commitment to RBC. For example, you may choose to give $2,010 to join The 2010 Foundation and spread that donation out in yearly or monthly installments until December 2010.

Gifts of Securities often confer significant tax benefits on the donor; for example, contributions of appreciated securities held for over a year are generally deductible at market value and are exempt from the capital gains tax. Matching Gifts are made by companies that you, or your spouse, work for. Most participating companies will match employee gifts dollar for dollar, and some will even double- or triple-match a gift. Matching gifts can typically be arranged by obtaining a matching gift form from your company. Make sure to note if your company will be making a matching gift when you donate online or by mail. This is an easy way to amplify the impact of your gift without increasing your obligation.
